  1. Find the Density of each. The lower density will be on top if they are not miscible.

    Glycerin Density = 37.8g / 40ml = 0.945g/mL.

    Corn syrup Density = 82.8g / 60mL = 1.38g/mL.

    If they are immiscible, the glycerin will separate at the top and form an Interface with the corn syrup.
