A jealous mommy!!!?

It seems that my 10 month old loves his father than me does me. Everytime I have him alone then his father come in the room, he pushes away from me and cryies for his father or if me and his father are in the room and then he leaves, our son will cry his eyes out for him. He rarely does that for me!!!! I feel so jealous and I am kind of ashamed of it, because I want him to love him father, but I want him to love me as equally.

If you have had this experience...please let me know how you dealt with it?

  1. not me personally but my friend has. she felt the same way you do. could it be that daddy spends more time with him like he is off more days or comes home earlier? or does he get his way with daddy more than u? that could play a big part. her hubby was off every other day and was with baby so he was more attached to him than her.

  2. what's happen shawty I'm dealing with that now my wife feels the same way that you do. I can't explain and I don't think its really anything that can be done. He just loves his daddy like my daughter does me. But don't feel down about it because your baby loves the both of you the same. You carried him for 9 months well 10 months so that bond for you is there he doesn't love one more then the other. Just get it in your head because its really a mind thing.

  3. I'm jealous of you.  I wished my kids wanted their father more than me then I could have a break.  My husband is very hands-on and does a great job but my kids still want me more than him (probably he works a lot and I'm home to take care of them all the time).  It's a phase.  He'll grow out of it.  My daughter did this at one point too.  It didn't last that long.

  4. My daughter was the exact same way at that age! Now, she is 3 (tomorrow) and it is the exact opposite! She only wants to be with me!

I cried my eyes out so many times! I know it is so so so hard, but just try to appreciate the fact that your child has a close bond with his daddy! Looking back, I wish I had used that time she hung out with her daddy to get more things done around the house since I can never do it now!

    Hang in there!!!

  5. I have done nothing hunney. Ya jus sit on down and wait.
