Resistance

Ohm

the best amp for you depends on your situation, the number of subs being used, the impedance (ohms) of those subs and the sound quality that you are looking for

the lower the impedance- the easier (cheaper) it is to power but the lower the sound quality

i dont go below 2ohms because mose CEA-compliant amps are not stable below 2ohms (i know Fosgate amps are and i think JL amps are) and the sound quality really suffers

you would be safe with any amp that has the nessacary wattage at the correct impedance and is also CEA-complaint=  which means that the amp makes of exceeds the advertised RMS wattage with minimum distortion, here are the CEA-compliant companies
