  1. You can try finding work at a supermarket, packing produce. Call the supermarket chains, like ALDI, Lidl, Kaufland, etc or look for jobs in clothes shops. Prepare a written job application at your PC. Get help from the Arbeitsagentur and the Berufberatung when writing your application. Indicate in your job application that you might wish to become Kaufmann/Kauffrau für Einzelhandel after you graduate and are looking to gain on-the-job experience, working on Saturdays.

I know it is not what you want, but I think that this is your best chance of finding a job at your age.

I used to help with job applications send to another big Zoo in Germany, and we almost always had to tell people "no". Jobs in a zoo are highly sought after. (You are not the only one who loves animals.)

We had 2 places annually for a 3-year training scheme (Ausbildungsplätze zum Tierpfleger) and over 1200 applications for them. We only considered people who had completed internships at zoos lasting at least 3 weeks and at least a "good" in Biology, Maths and German. We were left with 500 applicants which we invited for testing. After the testing we had 30 candidates left. Most of them had grades  between "good" and "very good" in all of their subjects and half of them were attending Gymnasium. The situation was similar at all other zoos offering "Ausbildungsplätze zum Tierpfleger-Zoo".

And because we only took candidates which had completed at least 3 weeks of an (unpaid !) internship in a zoo, the waiting list to get an internship (Schülerpraktikum) in our own zoo was a year long. Go figure.

You can still try to get a job or an internship at Berlin Zoo, but you would have a better chance of working with animals if you volunteered at the Tierheim.

  2. Apply as a dolphin trainer; the Berlin Zoo is not only the world's most-known strip mile, but also has a famous aquarium and a REAL zoological garden. And as you say you're 15 years old, get a job as a trainee there. Hope you won't have to remove too much elephant's dung, but can also pet a baby tiger.

    Good luck to you!

  3. In Germany you have to actually "learn" a job/occupation. Which means for at least 3 years you're trained in a certain job and then have to do a test. If you want to continue school and work on the other hand, it may only be possible to do it during the holiday season which is called "Ferienjob". I will give you the link to the Berlin Zoo, maybe you get lucky and find info there. If not, I'm sure you can contact them:

    Good luck!

  4. shouldn't you be asking them?

  5. You can ask there. Also you can make babysitting or work somewhere else.
