Do you think some people's questions are ludicrous and only ask them because of a tendency to be lazy in looking for a solution themselves?

  1. No, but I think your parents must have been very hard on you.

  2. Absolutely.  And it makes me sad when people ask for answers to questions on their homework.  There is nothing wrong about asking questions about HOW to get the answer, but it is definitely not cool when people are just looking for someone to do the work for them.  People should have more integrity than that.

Or, just very basic research questions that wikipedia could answer in about two seconds kind of bother me too.  Space here should be used for people who have more specific questions, are looking for diverse answers, for people with multiple perspectives, etc.

  3. well if youn dont know something peolple ask !whereas you want to appear bright by knowing the answer to your own question. pointless !!the greatest minds known to man asked what if !!

  4. yes

  5. Yes, but on the other hand, I have heard some good opinions and suggestions that might not be found trying to "look it up".  Definitions - yes, lazy.

  6. Yes, especially when they're asking for definitions. Webster??? Sorry if this comes off rude or snobbish, I just think some of it does appear lazy.
