so my cousin has been raised on organic food (8 years old) and i dont think shes every had none organic food(they live on a farm and they pretty much grow all their fruits/veggies/animals and bake their own bread and all that stuff)

well she is out here for three weeks why my aunt is on vacation and we do eat organic but we eat more none organic food.

my question: will she get sick from the none organic food because of all the additives if she is not used to eating it? i really dont want to cook her something and her get sick from it or have a tummy ache because she cannot tolerate regular food.

  1. Chances are extremely rare that she would get sick.

The only way she could get sick if she was allergic to a preservative( or anything that's not found in Organic foods).

    So, the risk is small.

No she won't getg sick as long as she does not have allergies.

    She'll be OK I'm sure.

  2. no. thats not true at all, people have been living just fine off of additive laden foods. organic food is just  a trend, making people more paranoid.

    shell be ok!

  3. She will not get sick, since her Kidneys haven't had to deal with chemical additives all her life, she is in better shape to deal with them for a week or two. She may not enjoy the flavor of stuff grown using chemicals. I'm not 100% organic myself, but stuff grown organically tasts much better.

  4. A few years ago, I ate organic food everyday (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for around six months.

Then after my first meal of non-organic food at a friend’s house, I dry retched and eventually vomited.

When people avoid pesticides, chemicals etc…whether in food or cosmetics over an extended period of time, they tend to detoxify all this c**p out of their systems. They then become very sensitive to toxic chemicals and will react badly when exposed to them.

So if that was my reaction after only six months (and I have heard of other people have the same experience), are you really willing to take the risk with her health?
