A la seconde turns, fuettes, and firebird leaps?

Question

I need help with a few of these. I have my fuettes on my left but they are a little wobbly. I thought that a la seconde turns would be easier than fuettes but it turns out...they're not. I cannot get these turns for some reason!! I also want to learn a firebird leap...My dance teacher hasnt taught those to use yet but they look so cool. Any answers or tips? thanks!!

go to youtube and search "just for kix firebird leap"...i can't do neither 3 of what you said! but i'm working on my foutees and a la seconde turns....i'm not going to try and touch firebird leaps yet! :)

For your fouettes, you must be strong in your center and in your legs and make sure to use your arms they really really help people tend to forget them when they are trying to learn fouettes but dont let that be you! pull up and spot practice the movement of the leg at the bar with the plies and relaves over and over and when it doesnt hurt you to do more than ten in a row try it center just the movement of the legs then try it actually turning and spotting. (this is kind of hard to explain with words without showing you but im trying here haha). as for firebird leaps just do like a normal leap but bend your back leg and throw your head back it will just come to you one day try it a few times to get the feel for it and just go for it! good luck

A la seconde turns are easy if you keep your center tight and your leg turned out and at a strong 90 degrees.

fuettes are hard so dont be discouraged! i have my rights and lefts on flat in ballet but i can get them occasionally en pointe. make sure your core is strogn and your lifted. dont over cross you leg when you brign it front. keep square.

practice the technique at the barre a lot it will help you a lot on the turn off the barre.
