What is the connector used for tapping into a high voltage power supply line that is in between the power line pole and the power meter on the side of a house?

  1. How is asking for the name of a component a precursor to an illegal act? I'm sure the component in question has many legal applications. I guess that many of those that answer questions not only know everything, but they can also read minds.


  2. That's a no, no they have a way of checking that now do to weed growers and their lights..............You can do it right at the meter base.............just buy pass one leg...........it's called illegal clamp:) have fun....don't get hurt

  3. This is illegal, unethical, and very dangerous. No one should respond to this type of request.

  4. Its called a crimp-on. At least by Georgia Power Company standards. You use whats called a "stake-on tool" in order to crimp it to an existing wire.
