I am married with cash available to buy a property, but I do not know whether to buy it in my name or my husbands or shared names with my children. My reason for question. If something happened to me can I pass the property on to my children, or if I share the ownership with my partner it may protect the property if one partner survives the other, then the other partner can carrying on using it or my final thoughts I would like to ensure my children can use it if something happened to us .

  1. Do it with you and the children. They will be assured of getting it in case something happens to you. If you did it with your husband then something happened he might meet someone else and she gets it and not the children.
