A-level English Literature?

I am thinking of taking English Literature for A-level this year. I love books and i read lots of them, and i enjoyed doing it at GCSE. However i was told that you have to study drama pieces, and do acting?

That is something i don't want to do. I'm a really shy person and i hate acting etc

I was wondering if anyone who had taken the subject had to do this?

  1. The drama pieces you have to study, have nothing to do with acting. They are drama such as Shakespeare's.

You do not have to do acting, that is a totally different aspect of studying.

If you love reading, and did well at GCSE, then you will surely do well and like A level Literature
