A-level chemistry in 1 year?

is it possible to the full Alevel in chemistry in year, like with home learning?

  1. with home learning, yes. you just dont get cool playtimes, and healthy school dinners.


  2. Yes it should be...Provided you put in the work!

    The current AS is designed to be covered in 60 hours of teaching time.  That means 60 hours to deliver the material as new. Practical work, homework, and practice questions are not counted in this time.

    The A2 is meant to take the same time.

    So, provided you have the time it can be done. Remember you will probably need to complete either coursework or practical exam for both AS and A2. If you are doing it in a year it might mean that the exam would be better as it takes up less time to do.

    Don't try to short cut things with the learning. It is important that you take the time on the AS material. Some of the material for A2 depends on it.

  3. If you were willing to put the extra effort in and work extremelly hard then possibly yes, and you would have to be good at chemistry aswell.
