A level exam dates 2009

hi im doing maths,chem,geog and biology 4 my a-levels but i don't know which board yet.i wanted to know which dates do these exams' 1st module exam fall within.i need to know as an unmissable trip abroad is being planned from mid december till 7th january.will i miss any exams?

that's weird, a lot of colleges don't take january modules unless they're retakes, usually the students sit the exams in the summer. if you are taking january exams you should be ok to go away until the 7th as i'm pretty sure they don't start quite that early, although if you need plenty of revision time it's pushing it a bit. however if there really is a problem you could just take the papers in the summer... most people don't take modules in january unless it's a retake anyway. Even if the rest of your class are taking a module early, anyone who doesn't reach their grades should have the option to take the exam again in the summer, so you should be ok to as well.

They usually start the second week back after the christmas break...so hopefully you wont miss any...But until you know your exam boards you wont know the dates of the exams
