Question:

A levels: As level question?

Well I'm starting my As level in Maths etc in september. I want to know any advice, warnings or anything else that I should do or stuff I shouldn't do to achieve the best grades in my chosen subjects?

Things which you wish you did right and regret?

Things that will get you best grade?

Anything similar or as important, which you should do right or you will suffer in the end, you know?

Thanx

  1. Most people take 4 A-Levels at a time, it's strange that your only doing maths or you maybe doing them early in high school like I did, anyway, one thing you should never do is miss lessons or you'll be behind alot and it will just keep building and you'll end up struggling to keep up.

Just do what you have to and you should have no problems.

  2. Hey, i am in the same positition as you, the advice i can give is-

    Revise.

Sounds patronising, but a few weeks before giving the exam i started revising and all my friends were going out and asking me to go and i kept saying no, they got a bit upset- but you need to sort out your priorities. Whats more important- saying no to a film you can see another time, or revise for a life changing hour?

I revised and it was boring, but i got really good results. it pays off doing your work.

Also, manage your time. Dont get sidetracked too easily, say to yourself- i will revise non-stop for 40 mins. listen to this song and eat this then revise again.

Basically, keep focused on your work- it sucks for a while BUT is too worth it when you get that A on that paper!
