  1. We are showing by living such a life.

    You and me & others.

  2. Human being have been living for generations. Elders have taught. Young people have learnt. The whole humanity follows the trend set by our ancestors.

We have been told to aim for perfection only. We should do all our actions with the sole purpose of achieving perfection. Those who have achieved perfection they were considered great and many people follow such noble elders.

After achieving perfection such doubts may not arise.

  3. No, i dont think anyone can live a life with no regrets, as you say nobody's perfect and as such, will always make the odd mistake, miss the odd opportunity, or maybe not do something at the time and regret it later. Our memories will always be there to keep us company, but we can try and shut out the bad ones and also learn from them too...

  4. What a wonderfully circular question. I love it. Thanks.

  5. If we can set aside our ego and atone for all our misdeeds or mistakes, there should then be no case for regrets. However, in order to recognize the mistakes and misdeeds and then genuinely atone for them, one must be able to conquer own ego, and this is where we miserably fail.... instead of making amends for our mistakes and misdeeds, we conjure up logic to justify ourselves...... I would therefore say that it is not imperfect life that is ultimately responsible for regrets, it is in fact our slavery to our ego that truly is the cause for the regrets that arise later in our lives....... and I have had no evidence of anyone having conquered ego totally!!

  6. life with no regrets? nah.. but it could've been much worse

  7. well i have many regrets and i know my memories will always keep me company as you say. but i think some people chose to never have regrets...only lessons learned. doesnt mean they have a perfect life.

  8. thats a very good question.

i think you can live a life without regrets but without being perfect.

the way i see it is,is that yeah i regretted things for a while but then if i hadnt done them things then i wouldnt be who or where i am now so no i regretted things for a little while but now i dont because its made me who i am and im not and never will be perfect.but i am perfect in my inperfection and the things i regretted at one stage in my life i dont now cause without them things i wouldnt be who i am.

  9. If you can find an example of a single human who while on their death bed claims to fully embrace their entire life experience such that they'd not erase a single memory then the answer is yes.

  10. i believe a life without regrets is perfectly possible. note, i did not say without doing anything wrong. in the course of ones life, of course mistakes will be made. of course things will go wrong. there is no way around it.

however, the word regret indicated that one would dwell on these mistakes and see them only as bad things. if one has the power to overcome their mistakes, learning from them or even just getting over them and allowing them to be in the past, then one can live a life without regret. i can say that i, personally, live such a life despite mistake after mistake.

  11. i life with no regrets can be lived

if you can learn & later laugh from your mistakes instead of thinking about what you could have done better. If you learn to smile because it happened & instead of frown because it ended. Memories hold our soul, it tells who we are & how we came to be.
