A lil help with this camera please?

ok im tryna make this movie n i need it to b n slow motion so im using windows movie maker i got a kodak camera n everything is hooked up n on n when i try to import the video from the camera it says "import video could not find a compatible digitial video device. Verify that the digital video device is properly connected or turned on" n it is a lil help please

Camcorder model number or media storage type (miniDV tape, flash memory, hard drive, DVD, VHS-C or whatever) and how you are connecting the camera to your computer.

Computer type, manufacturer and operating system and version.
