A limited-over Indo-Pak series expected later this year –Cricket News Update
Following the successful meetings between the chief of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Zaka Ashraf, and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president, Narayanaswami http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Srinivasan-c90829, both governing bodies have devised a small window over the New Year as
a possible time frame for resuming their cricketing endeavours – a short bilateral series of limited overs.
According to FTP, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 will be touring India in December this year, where the traveling party is expected to fly back home for their Christmas break from December 21 to January 3.  During this 13-day period, BCCI intends to host the Men in Green for either
two ODIs and one Twenty20 or all three 50-over games.
“There’s a distinct possibility that we could have a few matches in December-January,” said a top BCCI official in the know of things.
“The Indian team is very busy, but we’re trying to slot in a few matches late this year,” said Subhan Ahmed, CEO PCB.

As far as the stats are concerned, both arch-rivals have faced each other in 16-Test match series, along with 122 ODIs - where Men in Green hold edge in both formats. While out of the two Twenty20s played, the Men in Blue are leading with a 1-0 margin.
