A line 6 spider 3 amp (15 watt) or difitech rp90 effects pedal?

Ok, i have recently upgraded my guitar to an Epiphone Les Paul standard. However, i still have a first act amp (which sucks) I am not looking to spend alot of money, and i only play for personal enjoyment/ friends. I have come down to these 2. Should i buy the amp or the pedal?

Also stay away from Spiders.

Searching the GG&A form at Ultimate-guitar.com will show you why...

they are ok for practice but not at all for live gigs and break down very often....they are also high in price for what you are buying...

stick with Roland cube amps...

I have a micro cube myself and they are great.
