A little Scared of going to new School.?

I am going to a new High School in a few weeks and I am scared of going to it because I am in Special Ed and I'm in there for Math, Reading, and Spelling and who ever knows what else I'll need, I am a normal student who's in Special Ed going to the 11th grade this year and I am a little scared of going there and being called a little kid for being in it because when I was at my old School in Louisiana me and my friends always got called retarted and stupid little kids for being in it.

How can I get rid of this fear and not be afraid of going to that new High School? And I am not all that scared just nervous and scared about how my future is going to end up because I had plans on becoming a 3D Modeler and a 3D Animator also working with 3D Graphics and I would like to start my own movie and I hope being in Special Ed wont ruin this.

If anyone could give me advice any Special Ed teachers or people who have been in Special Ed before that would be great because the previous Schools I have been in for Special Ed didn't even teach us that much.

I am 17 years old going to be a Junior this year who wishes to be a 3D Modeler.

  1. You have to take a deep breath and jump right into a new school. Think positive and feel that you will meet many new friends who will like you for who you are. Anyone who does not is not to have free rent n your head (don't think about them) or they have control over you. Are you sure it's not a resource class that you need? Perhaps you can be mainstreamed into regular classes. If you think you do not need special ed classes. That would entail a special teacher accompanying you to these classes to give you extra help in keeping up.  Ask your parents if they think they will need to ask that you are re-evaluated by the pupil appraisal department of your school system. Some special ed program are better than others and it's nothing to be ashamed of. Perhaps your new school will have an outstanding program.

  2. We all have fears from time to time. That's true no matter how big we are or brave we can be. Fear can even be good for you sometimes and even help you stay healthy. Fear of getting too close to a campfire may save you from a bad burn. And fear of getting a bad grade on a test may make you study more.

Being a bit on edge can also sharpen your senses and help you perform better in a recital or during a track meet. Some people even enjoy being a little scared. That's why they like to watch scary movies — or go on roller-coaster rides.

    What Happens When You're Scared?

Have you ever wondered why being scared makes your heart beat faster and makes you breathe quicker? The body's reaction to fear is called the "fight or flight" response. And people have had it since the beginning of time.

  3. Are there 3D modelling companies in your area where you could apply for a job as a trainee?
