A little bit extra added onto the previous acting question?

I am 14 and want to get into acting, I have previously posted a question related to acting so dont go slagging me off sayin i dont understand it because i included it all in my previous question but I was just wondering, will the fact that I play guitar and sing help me at all?

Youv'e got guts and determination on your side!

Of course singing and playing the guitar will be a help in your career. The singing will help in your breath control and voice projection and playng the guitar will help with your musical appreciation and confidence in performing. If you can learn to read music as well then this will be a huge feather in your cap!

Well the simple fact that you play the guitar and sing probably won't help you get into the business, but since a lot of what goes into singing will help you with acting, its good that you have the experience. Also, on your resume, make sure to put guitar under the special skills section. It probably won't make a big difference, but it's worth it. =]
