A little help please...

Hi,

I just found my hamster dead, the thing is she had swollen to 4 times her original size. I was just wondering if anyone had any idea what she could have died of? Or why she swelled so much?

It is possible she could of died off something she ate/chew or something. How old was she?

she could have bloated from something she ate

oh no you should dispose of the poor hamster quikly because i forgot what the disease was called but human could catch it very soon and it could easly kill the human race!!!!!!!!!!!

                                or it could of caught the flu cause animals take illneses differently=(

maybe could of been something she ate before she died, the temp in your room, or hamsters might do that when they die, mine did not swell at all but maybe you sprayed some chemicles in the room

It sounds like she may of died from chocking on a  toy/food etc. I'm very sorry to hear about your loss.
