Hey guys i'm confused.

Here's a role-playing situation:

If I'm a Japanese citizen, a woman, planning to go to America to live ALONE at exactly at the age of 18 (eighteen) with all my family and relatives left back in Japan...

is that allowed? If yes, how so? If no, why?

and if u can't answer the first question here's another question/if you could answer another question:

situational:

You're a japanese woman...

is it possible in japan to be living alone (you're a pure japanese citizen as well with raw japanese blood alright? :P not an immigrant) at the age of 18? if yes, how so? if no, why?

  1. At 18 in the US you are considered an adult.  If you can get a visa, you can come to the US.  Are you coming to continue your education?  You can't just come here and life unless you have a job or are self supporting.  The American Embassy in Japan can give you all of the information you need.


  2. You're going to go to America to go back to Japan to live with your family that was left in Japan so that you can live alone?

As long as you are issued a visa you can enter the USA alone.  Before a visa is issued they look into your background to determinbe whethewr or not you will not be a burden to the state and that you would be an asset so if they issue you a visa thAT MEANS YOU HAVE QUALIFIED.  However, if you are just going there to stay, the possibility is that if you don't have any source of income or you dont have relatives who will support you there, that you will be denied a visayYou must have a justifiable reason for going to the US of A
