THE MOURNING AFTER

Do you walk beside me

Whilst i stroll alone

Through fields of pain

From seeds ive sewn

Do you kneel with me

Whilst i pray at night

To the one above

For a vision or sight

Do you cry with me

Whilst i silently weep

Tears of joy run shallow

From grief they run deep

Do you sit beside me

Whilst im deep in thought

Going back to my youth

And the values you taught

Are you with me listening

When i call to you

Tellng you what ive been thinking

What ive been going through

I know you are watching

I know you can hear

I can sense you around me

I know you are near.

When words like these are written,

Sadness is easy to share.

In each and every sentence,

I Feel how much you care.

Not only have you talent

for the thoughts you  so lovingly pen,

You capture the real moment,

That I must read again!
