A little self concious with my boyfriend?

like when we are walking he likes to put his arm around my waist sometimes and i get a little self concious that he might think i am fat or something. is this normal

your boyfriend already knows what your waist is like, because he can see you!  

i think that in today's world, there is too much emphasis on being skinny and looking like we are a skeleton....

if you simply eat right and take care of yourself, i'm sure you will continue to look fine... i'd bet on it.

i had the same exact problem with my boyfriend. he always likes to feel my stomach and alla that and he says he loves it. i'm really not happy with myself though. i'm not skinny and not fat. just average like you said! if he says your beautiful and he loves you the way you are.. just accept it! even if he doesn't say that stuff yet.. i have no idea how long you've been going out.. but even if he just shows affection like that.. putting his arm around your waist. don't worry about it! be happy with yourself and the way you are.

all girls and women think about this stuff.....but the reality is that men-and I've asked many of them about this-DO NOT see women the way we see ourselves.  They think our bodies are beautiful and s**y, even with a little extra pounds here and there.  They hate it when we stress out about something that small.  Oh, and if they really have a problem with your weight, they wouldn't be with you anyway.

If your boyfriend is trying to do things that make you uncomfortable or weird then explain to him why and if he respects you he'll stop or slow down. If he really loves you he'll respect your needs and he WONT think your fat.

dude yea dont worry about that im sure that hasnt even crossed his mind he probably just excited to have is arm around you but every one is self conscious and it might just be your brain giving you an excuse to be nervous around him but totally dont worry about it if hes right for you he honestly wont care

if  you are in a relationship that should be ok i guess. but you have to stand up for your self girl friend. you need to speak up for yourself. if you don`t like it then tell him that if you intruely love him. if he dosent listen to you then he dosent respect you and then there is no trust in him. then move on to the next guy who appreciated who you are.
