I'm a question asking fool today...lol

So my children are going to church with their babysitter for a couple of hours tonight. I never have time to myself, i REALLY don't want to come home and do housework, since that's all i ever do.

Any suggestions??

I have hobbies like photography, reading, music.

Throw some things at me!

  1. take a bath, that is what I do when I get the free time to rest.  have a glass of wine. do something you like see how it is to have your own bowl of ice cream or go out to see a friend...or on a date with your spouse

  2. Go to Boarders get a book on photography and go home put on some music and read.

Take your camera and go the the park and take some pics.

Or the best of all is take a nice long bubble bath with candles and music.  I loved to do that when I had small children.

Have a great time.  You deserve this free time.

  3. Go treat yourself. Get a manicure, pedicure, massage, facial, buy something nice for yourself, or go to a nice park and sit and read for a while. Whatever you do make sure you enjoy it. Every mother deserves some woman time.

  4. Sounds like a few hours at Barnes and Noble...

  5. Go to a local park or trail and see if you can take some great pictures.  Or visit the library (always better w/o kids!) and pick out some great books.  I love to get pedicures, but don't like to pay for them so I only get about 2-3 per year but that would be fun.  Meet a friend for ice cream or coffee.  There's got to be somebody else out there looking for a break!

  6. take a nice hot bath, play some sootheing music, sip some champagne, get you some take out dinner and then curl up on the chair and watch you a good lifetime music and pary that church is much longer tonight lol

  7. Get out of the house for awhile.

  8. Get a book and read  :)

escape in the only realistic way that you can.

Make it a fun book, though, to keep things light.

  9. i would go hiking biking or swimming. yoga works wonders for stress as well. me personally would do some hiking come back and do yoga and then a warm shower. then when the kids come home and fight your doing yoga and meditating has helped soothe you and you wont get frustrated so fast. try it when the kids go to bed as well. you will sleep better.

  10. Run a warm bath, set a CD player in the bathroom, grab a book and relax.

That sounds like fun to me!!

  11. You have many great suggestions on here already. But you think that is exciting. I actually got SUPER excited that I got to have a candy bar and a bottle of pop all to myself. Without feeling guilty and eating it all to myself. No hiding or anything. It was wonderful. I only ate half... but I LOVED IT!

  12. take a nap
