A look at the top prospects of Montreal Canadiens –NHL Special
There was a time when Montreal Canadiens had one of the deepest squads of the National Hockey League (NHL) and strength in the roster but in last few years they have lost and have been troubled because of it.
They had not been picking up prospects and were not active in the NHL draft which became a cause of their suffering. But now, in the recently concluded the draft in which they showed some intent and were able to pick up a few prospects.
Montreal based team also got up advantage as their Trevor Timmins, director of Amateur Scouting, was given an opportunity to pick up four players out of the first 64 selected and he took advantage of it by picking up some valuable players. Let’s take a look
at few of them:
1.       Alex Galchenyuk
Alex Galchenyuk is son of an international ice hockey player, Alexander Galchenyuk, who represented Soviet Union and Belarus back in his playing days so hockey is something that he inherited from his father.

3.      Tim Bozon
Son of Philippe Bozon, former National Hockey League (NHL) professional, who played for St. Louis Blues, Tim Bozon was drafted 64th overall in the 2012 NHL draft by Montreal Canadiens.
French left winger started his hockey career in Switzerland but shifted to Kamloops Blazers of Western Hockey League last season and an excellent average of one point per game by scoring 71 points in 71 games, 36 goals and 35 assists.
