A look into Thad Levine’s decision to remain with Texas Rangers – MLB Special
The Texas Rangers are now feeling quite comfortable with the late decision of their assistant general manager Thad Levine to remain with the franchise and has no intention of leaving soon.
This is called an individual’s loyalty for a certain organisation, which gave much to that individual’s professional career and when the time comes that particular individual always wanted to show a good gesture in order to pay back the reverence of same
level.
Levine said through a release on Wednesday, “My family and I have happily decided to forego any current outside opportunities and remain part of the Texas Rangers family for next seasons, we are extremely appreciative of all the opportunities that Jon Daniels,
Nolan Ryan and ownership have provided to us and make me stay here.”
Later, the Rangers general manager Jon Daniels also commented on Levine’s decision and said, “Thad's a critical part of what we do and I'm glad he's not going anywhere just yet.”
Thad Levine did what he thought best for him and for his future managerial career. Earlier, the Houston Astros persuaded him for a potential opening job of general manager in their franchise but the Rangers assistant GM declined the offer even getting the
permission from top management to interview with the Astros.
Working with GM Jon Daniels and for the Rangers, one particular thing of strategy building and improving fast on your previously made mistakes are the foremost managing quality he has learned and now knows where to head in future with a team who also understand
all these managerial characteristics.
Since he has done his Masters from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1999, he never looked back and decided to enter into a new career of baseball management especially in Major League in America. Starting off his career from the Colorado
Rockies plate form, he eventually made his way into the Texas Rangers franchise in 2005. His arrival in the Rangers as assistant to the general manager was appreciated by many baseball experts.
These experts have always regarded him as one of the best officials currently working in the MLB and since his relationship with the Rangers have grown further; there is no point that Levine might think leaving the franchise any time soon.
However, here we can also think of Levine as a person, who has no hurry to grab the position where he does not fit well with all the outer aspects of experience, team worth, compensation and being under a superior who can still give him some extra knowledge
that will eventually help him in the near future to be a better leader.
