  1. It looks trashy! I wouldnt hire a lawyer, doctor,a nurse! But maybe a fry fryer sure!

  2. I think everything has its place.

Tats are OK in a motorcycle shop or a tat parlor or some artsy type job.   Not so cool in professional settings.

  3. A person having body art has no revelance as to whether they can do the job or not. I don't think that it should matter. As long as that person can do the job,why can't they get hired?

  4. The way I see it:

The employer writes the checks. He can hire as he likes on the basis of appearance other than race or gender.

If the employer makes bad decisions the business fails.

  5. Nobody told them to go have a mural done in their bodies right?    Serves stupidity right?

  6. I don't think it should reflect what kind of person they are or how good (or bad) of a worker they may be....but the reality is that people ARE judged for it, so people with visible body art shouldn't be surprised. It's unfair, I know.

  7. I would have a hard time hiring someone with a lot of visible body art simply because I would wonder how they managed to find the time to sit still long enough to have it all done. It's likely I'm wrong in my thinking, but I can't imagine how many hours some of these walking art shows must have spent in the tattoo parlor instead of working, caring for their families, going to school, or doing the other necessary things we need to do to survive.......and it looks trashy, which is definitely the wrong way to think, but it's the truth. In my world anyway.......
