its either 2:22 4:44 1:11 12:12, especially 2:22 both in the afternoon and night.

i rarely look at the clock since i've just been in the house most of the time this summer so i have no need to worry about the time, but whenever i do, its always been those times at the most. is it just my mind playing tricks on me lol?

  1. i do the same thing. but every time i look at it it says 9:11. i was born at 2:22! yay. if you get an answer let me know.

  2. Its a work of your subconsious mind. It happens with all. You probably think much about this stuff. My belief is unknowingly we are aware of the time at any instant. This might be the reason of the game you feel, your mind is playing..

    JUST CHILL

  3. I've noticed that I almost always wake up a few minutes BEFORE my alarm rings, I HATE hearing it ring. I think our brains always know what time it is to the second and if we want to call on this ability we can, even when the "want" is subconscious.

The reason we might subconsciously "want" to see  numbers like the ones you mention might be because the human mind is always seeking patterns because that's how we make sense of our world. Patterns of the seasons tell us when to plant, patterns of stars tell us where we are and even what season we are in and the time of night etc. And without patterns of speech we couldn't communicate effectively.

  4. Times of day that you state are memorable because they stand out as being more unique than other times.  You look at the clock other times in a day but 10:36, for example doesn't stick in your head as much.  I'm sure you've seen 10:36 just as many times as 2:22.
