A lot of people tell me I have a big house and a jet, and sometimes I wonder if people like me for money :/?

It's really annoying!!! People at school always are like "you're so lucky you have a jet!" and that I have a huge house and a helicopter. My good friends don't care about it of course but it's sooo annoying because I'm not a snob. It's like one person finds out and the world knows!!! How can I clear my stupid rep as the rich brat when I'm not? :/ Thanks!

true friends won't care what toys you have .if you have nothing they share with you what they have. to find friends BE a friend.

Sometimes people just get real jealous when you have something they dont and then they get totally crazy about picin on ya  because of it.Maybe if you was to take them all up for a ride and lunch some special place it would be cool or have a big swim party and have rides in the copter .Open your life up a little to them and show  your not just a rich kid that will solve the problem

Just let these people know that these things are your parents. They have earned this life style,and you just happen to be lucky enough to be part of it.If your acting like a rich --tch then you will get treated that way,but if your not, then people will see this too. Treat people the way you would like to be treated. Be carefull how you present yourself, people can get the wrong idea about you. Good Luck!

You've only written in to show off. Those aren't your they are your parents. If your still in school you don't own it. If you have 2 people you can call genuine friends than your lucky.

My friend is in a similar situation. Haha. Since she's a granddaughter of a politician, so she's VERY rich and she can buy almost anything she wishes for [she's not a spoiled brat, though], but she doesn't like it when people mention that she's so wealthy.

The thing is that it's pretty difficult to stay with her and use all of her stuff when you don't actually like her / you aren't actually friends with her because she's so annoying =)) (sometimes you just want to strangle her, but she's really nice). Anyway, she gets mad when people tell her that "she's lucky", and stuff.

She also just ignores what other people say about her. Why would you care about people (who aren't even your friends) thinking that you're a rich brat when it's not the truth? All you need is your friends.
