A lot of programs keep closing by itself when i open it. why??

a lot of the programs on my computer like internet explorer, winwamp, and GOM player, closes when i open it.. and it shows the window with the send error report thing.. why does it keep doing that??

That sounds more like a malware program that has installed on your system (probably from browsing the web).  It's easy to get infected without good security protection, even from browsing regular sites on the web - just had it happen to me yesterday with the SHeur.CCOH trojan that was keeping me from opening Internet Explorer.

I used AVG's free anti-virus program to scan, detect, and clean the virus, and now I can run IE again.  Pretty lightweight program too that doesn't take a lot of resources to run.
