all these "die hard" soprts fans get all upset about "bandwagon" fans and i am sick of it. I myself have always been a tigers fan (even when they lost over a one hundred games) however I lover the fact that when they are doing good the seats are loaded with "bandwagon" fans why do people have such a problem with this??? its good for the sport and these people think that only hardcore fans have the right to watch.

people sont like to go out and see a crapy team so let them root for whoever they want and quit crying

anyone agree?

  1. No, I'm a Cubs fan and I've never been a bandwagon fan. Those are the fans that are jerks. Love them when they're winning bail when they're losing. I've had friends who never liked the Cubs or Bears until they were winning. They wanted to talk about how exciting it was to have the cubs in first place. I looked at them and said, where were you when they were losing? Fair weather fans p**s me off!!

Chad it's just my opinion assbag, I don't care if they go out to see the games, but don't get all excited when they are winning when you haven't cheered them on through the bad times. Any idiot knows that, apparently except for your dumbass.

  2. It rubs people the wrong way when people do something only when it becomes "cool" to do it.  There's something to be said for doing something "back when it wasn't cool."

I welcome bandwagon fans to the ballpark, I'd never say that only the die-hards have a right to watch; it's great to see people packing the ballpark.  What rubs people the wrong way about bandwagoners, though, is when they make no effort to really know what they're watching, or when they put themselves forward as experts, and really believe it, when they have no clue.

Be a bandwagoner, that's fine, come on out, enjoy it, and learn about the game while you're at it.  We'd like to see people who keep coming back.

  3. Amen, brother.

  4. I agree. Some fans forget the real reason the game is played is to enjoy some time outside with friends and see some sports. They get caught up with all the stupid reasons to go, like being jerks. But, then again, maybe the attitudes shown in the media contribute. It seems that there's rarely anything good to come out of a game anymore.
