A magazine who has a picture of a pink/ zebra horse!!! should i send a letter to the magazine or the company?

i was flipping through teen vogue and then i saw this. i think that is absulte insane!!! we dont dye horses!!! i dont mind they had a horse in the advertisement just that they dyed it!!!!!!!

you dont need to do that i hope it not a zebra cause then its a whole other storie + the dying of an aniaml!!!

should i write a lettter to teen voge or the company that advertised in it?

its nice but rather cruel dyeing a horse ,yes send it tell them you will not tolerate animal cruelty in any way,shape or form, tell the IFAW animal welfare too.

Settle down.  I'm sure they did it safely because otherwise people would freak (obviously).  We used to paint horses all the time when we were teaching anatomy, or dressing them up for different events.  As long as you use washable products, and wash them off as soon as you are done, there is no harm done to the horse.

well i feel that way to you should not dye an animal just enjoy the body color he is.

you should write to teen vogue first to let them know that you wont tolerate that but dont over exlpain just tell them in fewer words that you dont like. Then they might not carry any advertisment that does that.Then after telling them, then write to the company that did that and tell them.

dont lecture but just tell them that you dont like it and that others feel that way too about it.

Why would you still want to dye your animal even if you did a photo shop on it and no matter what animal it is even if it is not harmful i dont think any animal signed up for being any color of the rainbow for that matter

1. there are safe ways to "paint" a horse.  i've done it to my white arab and made her loook like a zebra, do you want my email adress?

2. i think you should take a chill pill instead of jumping off the deep end and being mad at them.

3. it's mostlikely a wash out dye job, that will come off with water and i am sure the animal does not mind it.

so, breathe in, breathe out and relax. and also think about it like this: b/c you came on here and posted that link, even more people now know about their product they're selling, the adverstiment has done it's job and you've helped.

it's too large to be a zebra. The dye washes out. Now a days you can do this on the computer

you can but it's not that big a deal animals that are used for advertisment and things are very well kept and spoiled  because rich people own them! lol

and plus it could be just photo editing

and people die and color horse fur all the time!

If this "paint" is a vegetable food dye, or something like Pepto Bismol then there isn't a cause for concern.....

Find out your facts first - and then write an intelligent letter to the editor of Teen Vogue.

It looks like a horse died to look like a pink and black zebra. The face and body build is different than a zebra, and its also too tall for it to be one.

Do some research about the nature of animal dyes - how harmful it is, does it contain poison, does the animal undergo any side effects, etc. The internet or a libary is a great source of information.

Once you have found out wether or not it harmful, and thus wether or not a letter needs to be sent, you can go about writing your letter.

Make it professinal. Keep it short. No one's going to read it if it's longer than a page. Keep the writing to the point, and be adult in your languge choice. Don't have any spelling errors, and make sure to present your argument in a thoughful way.

Do: Upon reading your ____ edition magazine, I was disturbed to find an add with a dyed horse.

Continue on your agrument, and make sure to back everything up from facts.
