  1. It's possible he found some that were that old, that is 2,054 years old, but any date on a coin couldn't have said 46 BC, because the people who struck the coin would have had no idea when they struck it that Christ would be born in 46 years.  


  2. Not dated 46 BC or any other BC year. BC designation was first used in 531 CE (AD).

    The starting date (AUC) for the Roman calendar 753 BCE (BC) so 46 BC would correspond to 707 AUC. But Roman coins usually did not include the date. Things were usually date by the number of years that the Emperor had ruled. Most people would have used 3 Julius for 707 AUC.  

  3. they could be dated 46 b.c.(before christ) as they did not know before then that christ would be born 46 years later.. they are fake.46 a.d. would be better
