A math problem i dont get!?

okay....

each letter represents the same digit in both problems replace each letter with a different digit, 1 through 9, so that both addition problems are true. there are 2 possible answers.

remember the letters represents a number.

on both sides.

ABC

+DEF

----------

GHI

ADG

+BEH

------------

CFI

there they are so for exampl if u do letter A for one....the other problem will also have number one....get it?

I tried to solve your problem, but couldn't.  My son posted it on another forum (don't know which) and he got you an answer:

sol 1:

A=1

B=4

C=6

D=5

E=8

F=3

G=7

H=2

I=9

sol 2:

718

236

954

So: 718+236=954

And: 729+135=864
