Also I have a friend who wants to name her child Melodie and she is having a bit of a time with the middle name, and asked me for some opinions.

What about Melodie Adele or Melodie Anastasia? Don't give common ones such as Nicole, Renee, Marie, Anne, etc.

  5. I recommend she use the spelling Melody, it's much much more common and that way her daughter won't have to spell out her name for everyone.

I don't know if that works really well. my middle name is Berlin..like Berlin, Germany. i always thought my middle name was pretty :D you could always use city names! well, there is always Melodie Hope! i think thats pretty too :] hope i helped!

  20. Mae, Hayle, Neveah, Quinn, Sage, Lynn, Rose, Kate, Leah, Hanna, Alexis, Leigh, Noelle, Rae, Renee, Bailey, Jaela, Mia, Chloe, Riley, Zoe, Kiley, Autumn, Ruby.

  21. OH, Cmon!

melodie and adele or anastasia or any A name after melodie sound terrible. I mean fonetically awful!

think of the roll in the tongue...me-lo-diea-dele or m-lo-diea-nas-ta-sia. The combination of A after melodie is bad.

I know you're not ok with nicole, but i saw it spelled at cracker barrell nichol with a dash over the o and that sounds fonetically better.
