I was just saving a mouse from my cat and it bit me. How can I be sure that it didn't have rabies?

  1. I guess you can't be sure, but wash it out good with soap and water, put some Neosporin or something similar on it and keep it bandaged. Call your doctor and let them know. Then keep an eye on it for the next few days to make sure it's not infected. Signs of infection are if it becomes red and hot to the touch, or if you see pus in it or red streaks radiating from the wound. If this happens, you need to see your dr. and get some antibiotics.


  2. uh you can't, at least i don't think you can't, you should go to an emergency room or urgent care ASAP. just in case
