The Toulouse left-back has claimed that the English Premier League outfit wants to sign him, but Les Pitchouns have denied receiving any offer from the North Londoners

The Senegal international has attracted a lot of suitors following a number of impressive performances for the club and the country, over the last couple of years.

And the player has been linked with some of the best clubs in Europe in recent time. The latest one in that list is Premier League side, Arsenal.

Also known as a French colony in London, The Gunners are in the market for a full-back and M'Bengue could well be the missing piece of the puzzle.

However, neither Arsenal nor Toulouse have revealed any kind of contact between the two clubs regarding the player’s potential transfer to England.

And to M'Bengue’s dismay, Toulouse’s owner, Olivier Sadran has ruled out the idea of selling their player now.

While talking to reporters, the club owner stated that Les Pitchouns have no intention of selling any of their players and as the Ligue 1 has already started, no one will be allowed to leave.

"For me, everything is clear. The league has started and no one will leave," Sadran responded when asked about Arsenal’s interest in one of Toulouse’s player.

On the other hand, Cheikh M'Bengue is not against the idea of moving to the Premier League. The Senegal international has admitted that to turn down a club like Arsenal would be tough and feels that the chairman will not stand in his way if Arsene Wenger
tables a good offer for him.

"I still have two years on my contract and I'm a key player here. I have no clause or agreement to leave - but Arsenal is something you cannot turn down if everyone is okay. I hope he [Sadran] won't block me if an interesting proposal comes up. Arsenal would
be awesome."

When asked about his chances in the Premier League, the 24-year-old said that he has been a phenomenal player for both club and country and he can perform well in England.

"I have played more than 100 Ligue 1 games and I'm a Senegal player. It's a question which doesn't stand."

Cheikh M'Bengue has been an influential player for Toulouse FC over the years and has made 133 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit so far.
