A movie called "Clown" about a lost dog.?

This movie i think came out in the early 70's.I actually saw it in school on a film projector.It was made by Richard Balducci and was filmed on location either in France or Italy.So I would like to see this again, any ideas where to find a copy or a web site to view it? Please help, I would love my son to watch it.
