  3. its probably

    Red Dawn

  4. Red Dawn with Patrick Swazi

  5. Red Dawn (1984)

starring Patrick Swayze, C. Thomas Howell, Lea Thompson, Charlie Sheen, Darren Dalton, Jennifer Grey, Brad Savage, Ben Johnson, Harry Dean Stanton, Ron O'Neal, William Smith, Powers Boothe, Frank McRae

    IMDb synopsis:

A film depicting the invasion of the United States from the north and south by communist forces from Cuba and Russia in the beginning of WWIII and the efforts of partisans from a small mid-western town to turn back the invasion. This film is one of the basis of the beliefs of the citizens militias and patriot groups about the possiblity of a U.N. takeover of the U.S. The movie and the theory of the New World Order proposed by the militias are similar, invasion by a foreign force, a big gun grab, arrest of gun owners, military equipment being moved on railroads, enemy helicopters re-education facilities (concentration camps), and a citizen force that strikes back.

I'm certain that this is what you're looking for, but you might be interested in a different, less action-packed takeover:

    Amerika (1987 TV miniseries)

starring Kris Kristofferson, Graham Beckel, Lara Flynn Boyle, Richard Bradford, Christine Lahti, Cindy Pickett, Robert Urich

    IMDb review:

With more of a whimper than a bang, the Soviet Union has conquered the former United States and intends to dismantle it. Having recently revisited this miniseries, I believe it holds up better than expected, considering all of the changes in world politics since its original broadcast. Yes, it is too long, and yes, the ending is not as well-resolved as some would like, and Kris Kristofferson is a bit wooden at times (although he has tremendous screen presence); but he is quite credible as an idealistic resistance leader, the late Robert Urich is picture-perfect as a popular yet pragmatic politician, and Sam Neill exudes just the right amounts of charm, power, and menace as one of the primary Soviet military overseers. There are even a few moments of greatness: Urich's monologue at the Lincoln Memorial, the shocking incongruity of Lincoln and Lenin together on political posters, and Christine Lahti's emotionally devastating performance. ... Underrated, unseen, and long overdue to be officially released on DVD, if only as an historical artifact: the most controversial television miniseries in U.S. history. The Cold War is over, but the emotions evoked by this production linger.

  6. It may be "Red Dawn"

  7. Red Dawn

  8. Red Dawn?
