I wanna watch a movie about like a family starting over. Something kindOF like "meet the browns" but not exactly. Like a girl who runs away from home & has to find her way or a family who's been to h**l & back. I like those heart felt movies & inspirational. Or maybe something like "How She Move". Like she had to work for what she wanted. Please i'll give 10 points to the best answer.

  1. For inspirational and heartfelt - Life Is Beautiful. It's so sad and so wonderful at the same time.

Just thought of another one, even better - The Pursuit of Happyness with Will Smith - so good!

  2. i thought ''where the heart is" with natalie portman was a great story.

she is a young girl who gets pregnant and ends up giving birth in a local walmart. her mother deserts her and she gets taken in by a couple who felt sorry for her. it's a good movie, check it out.

  3. Little Miss Sunshine is a great choice (acknowledging the first person to recommend it) but if you wish to see a movie about significant others going to h**l and back watch "What Dreams May Come". its awesome. made me cry *tear*

  4. Ordinary People

  5. The Giants. Not Little Giants the disney movie. Its about a man and his wife that are trying to have a kid and can not and he's on the verge of losing his job.

  6. "Pieces of April"...It's very sweet, and it's a Thanksgiving movie!

  7. Little Miss Sunshine. There is so much gain and loss in this disfunctional family.

  8. soul food?

  9. Sense and Sensibility

    Why Did I Get Married?

    Memoirs of a Geisha

    Step Up 2

What's Love Got to Do With It

    Waiting to Exhale

    Where the Heart Is

  10. Try watching "Imaginary Heroes", it's a really great movie. I don't remember all of the details because I watched it so long ago, but, I'm pretty sure it's kind of what you're looking for! Check out a synopsis online :) Emile Hirsch is in it.

  11. I have a real good one but be warned, it's a tearjerker. It's called Lantern Hill with Sam Waterston. I own it and it's really good ( I know I said that twice ) . Hope this is what you're looking for- good luck!

    Here's a synopsis:

In 1935 Toronto, Jane Stuart's mother has taken ill, and the two of them have temporarily moved in with her rich, snobbish grandmother, where Jane is verbally abused and her mother bullied. Jane is forced into a private academy, in which the other girls tell her that her father, whom Jane believes to be dead, is actually alive. Soon after, Andrew Stuart sends word that he would like to meet his long-lost daughter, so Jane is sent by train to Bright River to stay with him, where she encounters an old mystery that she must help her father overcome, new friends, and the chance to bring her father and mother back together again.
