Besides being a fabulous boxer, Pacquiao is also a congressional representative. By the end when Pacquiao decided to get himself into politics of Philippines, the fans and trainers showed mix of concern. Recently, Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach came up with a statement, “I fear Manny Pacquiao will quit boxing for politics after winning a seat in the Philippines.” Besides boxing and Politics he tried his luck in the field of music and singing.

Manny Pacquiao, as a Congressman
On February 12, 2007, Pacquiao officially announced that he would be running for a seat in the House of Representatives. His decision however easily turned off both his fans and the public. Pacquiao ran for a congressional seat to represent the first district of South Cotabato, but unfortunately, Darlene Antonino-Custodio defeated him. Custodio had 139,061 votes, whereas Pacquiao received 75,908 votes. By the end of election his rival, Darlene said, “More than anything, I think, people weren't prepared to lose him as their boxing icon.”
On September 2008, a pro-administration political party of Philippines had sworn him as a member of Kabalikat ng Malayang Pilipino (KAMP).
On November 21, 2009, Pacquiao confirmed that he would run again for the congressional seat but this time in Sarangani province, the hometown of his wife.
On May 13, 2010, Pacquiao scored a landslide victory over a wealthy and politically well-entrenched clan of the province. Pacquiao got 120,052 votes while his political rival, Roy Chiongbian, got 60,899 votes.
On June 28, 2010, Pacquiao took his oath of office as congress representative before Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonio T. Carpio in the Provincial Capital of Sarangani.

Singing is another interesting phase of the Pacquiao’s multidimensional career. Lito Camo composed most of the Tagalog songs of Pacquiao.
His first musical album is the “Laban Nating Lahat Ito,” released in 2006. Then is his second album with the name of Pac-Man Punch, brought to the market in 2007.

Out of the boxing ring, Pacquiao is also a good actor. Pacquiao started his acting career as an extra in some local films and guest appearances on ABS-CBN shows.
He took his first lead role in Violett Films “Lisensyadong Kamao” in December 2005. In 2008, Pacquiao appeared in another movie named as Anak ng Kumander (Son of Commander). His movie was not a commercial success. Pacquiao also starred comedy film entitled as “Wapakman.” Like his previous films, Wapakman was not commercially successful.
On December 17, 2007, he taped his first episode of the networks infotainment show, named as “Pinoy Records.” His other projects with the network included Totoy Bato and the sitcom Show Me Da Manny. His mother also appeared in his show.
An American actor, filmmaker, screenwriter, and film director, Sylvester Stallone is reportedly in talks with Pacquiao over co-starring in one of Stallone's future films, which is in the planning stages. The film would be Pacquiao's Hollywood debut.
Pacquiao is a source of inspiration for the new generation because the way he manages four various fields is awesome. It is difficult to find words to conclude the expended career of Pacquiao but the bottom line is that he is an “All Rounder” and a “Perfect Package.” Hats off to a perfect boxer, an incredible politician, striving singer and struggling actor, he truly is “Pac – Man.”
