Pacquiao's first fight with Marco Antonio Barrera
Pacquiao’s fight with the legendry Barrera, a Mexican Professional boxer was an enormous step up. The fight took place on November 15, 2003 at San Antonio. Barrera seemed to be dominating at the start round of the fight and some fans figured Barrera would
end it early. However, a short while it seemed Barrera had ambushed. Pacquiao landed 31 power shots and won the fight via a technical knockout (TKO) in the 11th round.
Pacquiao's first fight with Juan Manuel Marquez
After six months of the victory over Barrera, Pacquiao went on to challenge another respected Mexican counterpuncher, Juan Manuel Marquez. The fight took place at the MGM Grand and ended in a controversial draw after Pacquiao knocked down Marquez three times
in the first round but lost most of the latter rounds.
Pacquiao's first fight with Erik Morales
Pacquiao once again declared to fight against another Mexican legend, three-time division champion Erik Morales on March 19, 2005, at the MGM Grand Las Vegas. It was the first time decided by Pacquiao to move up to 130 pounds. Morales appreciated his courage
to take on the bigger and the more experienced Erik Morales. However, this time the weather was not favourable for Pacquiao, as at his first fight in the Super Featherweight division, Pacquiao lost the 12-round match by a unanimous decision from the judges.
Pacquiao's second fight with Morales
A very thrilling rematch between Pacquiao and Morales happened on January 21, 2006 at Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. Pacquiao eventually knocked Morales out in the 10th round. He took revenge for his previous defeat with a first knockout loss for Morales
in his boxing career.
Pacquiao's third fight with Morales
After a one - one tie, both of the legends decided to fight for the third time on November 18, 2006 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. Witnessed by a near-record crowd of 18,276, the match saw Pacquiao defeating Morales via a third-round knockout.
Pacquiao's fight with Nedal Hussein
Unbeaten Australian junior featherweight Nedal Hussein decided to take on Pacquiao on October 14, 2000 at Antipolo City, Philippines. During the fight, Nedal tested Pacquiao in every way. Nedal dominated Pacquiao in the fourth round and sent Pacquiao to
the canvas. After an eight count, Hussein clumsily tried to finish the game but Pacquiao took the moment to recover in a fantastic way and won the fight by TKO in the 10th round.
