A mysterious knot under my chin?

i woke up and underneath my chin hurt a bit, and their is a knot inside. i haven't hit it or done anything i know of, so might be a far stretch but anyone have any ideas.

I think it might be a lymphnode.

It's common to be there as well as a few other places.

They are usually a sign of fighting off an illness or infection.

They are usually harmless but it wouldn't hurt to go to the doctor.

this has happened with my uncle, he noticed it when he went shaving at the barber shop. and the guy told him that its getting bigger, althou i dont know exactly what is it, but my uncle end up getting it off by surgury.
