A neighbour saw a guy going round tying plastic bags?

Question

to bushes outside some people's houses. He's known to be a bad article and the neighbour thinks this could be a message to somehow let burgulars know which houses to target. Do you think this could possibly be true? Should I tell the police or would I get blamed for wasting police time?

are you sure it wasn't the bin man leaving some new sacks for everyone?

seriously though if you see this guy, just go right up to him and ask him outright what he's upto? you should get an indication of whether his answer is truthful by the way he acts, if he's all shifty - just smack the t**t just in case and then remove the bags.

I think i would report it to the police first, as it could be a message to target an area for burgulars and the like!

Not very comforting to hear i know, but dont touch the bags will be got your dna on them then! Also you don't know whats in them so be very careful and just leave it to the experts.

Also if you tell the police do it anomynously and dont let your nieghbours know you've done it it could backfire spectacually on you!

Would like to know what they mean or are for if you find out??

Just remove the bags so the burglars think the houses are occupied all day...........if you are concerned and believe this to be true contact the police and tell them what is happening - you are not wasting their time especially if there have been a spate of burglaries in your area
