  1. D

    C

  2. Both C

  3. 1. D  water has an ionizatio constant of 1 X 10 ^-14 so the [H+] = 10^-7M, [OH-1] = 10^-7M, \

    pH = -log [H+] = -log 10^-7 = 7

    2.  C   HCl , HNO3 and H2SO4 are strong acids in that they are 100% ionized  yelding an ionization constant approaching

    infinity.  Phosphoric acid ( H3PO4) has a first ionization constant of 7.5 X 10^-1is is therefore not totally ionized and is a weak acid

  4. 1. C

    2. B

    For question number 2 , i am not sure.

  5. 1-ph=y

    2-im not quite sure, but hcl (hydrochloric acid) is very strong, but so is sulfuric acid (h2so4) i'm sure you will get answers for numbe 2
