A new Yahoo Group!!! How can I add a web pages and other....?

Question

things to my new group...I want to get it ready for the opening soon I am trying to figure out how to add side boards and other things for my members to be able to do, and have fun at my group. All Help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, you can't really edit the side boards.  What you would need to do is add links to the area called Links.  YOu can add pages though, but those are just gonna be for like adding things like "Member of the Week" with a good back ground and image.  

The group is mostly a posting group.. so anything they do will be either sent to their emails, if they chose that, or they will have to look for the message topic they are looking for.  I believe you can have a link in your pages for those message threads to help your members find them.

To add links to your site click on the option that says "Bookmarks" (another way to talk about webpages) in the menu bar to the left on your group's homepage.  Then click on the option that says, "Add a link".  After you put the information for the links in click "Save" and they will be added.

For adding files click on "Files" and click on "Add a file".  If you need to put things in a folder look for an option that says, "Add a folder".  After that is done click "Save".
