A new invention around one month ago wrt man flying

Question

i read a news in paper that a man around 50-55 years invented a suit or say gadget which has two small jet engines controlls in had and powered by normal car fuel ,,after wearing that suit the two engines come around shoulders respectively and after that switching on engines you can fly in air for 1 hour.. the man has got patent for that and its production for sale will be started in one year..I forgot his name and country's name ...

can someone give me detail for that ....or any link

Jetpacks have been around since the mid 1960's, but I think you're talking about this guy:

His name is Glenn Martin, from New Zealand.  He demoed his "jetpack" at the Oshkosh air show in the US.  For safety reasons, it only got about 4 feet off the ground.  Two people were holding it to prevent it from going any higher.

i think its in one of the guiness book of records. i no that its either 2006, 2007 or 2008 but im pretty sure its 2007.
