A new laptop - need help please!!?

Question

well i'm going to buy a new laptop and don't know a few things.

Q1) if i should get a centrino or a centrino 2.

Q2) Is having a 'centrino 2' really important? or does it matter more about the hard drive ?!?

Q3) i'm not sure which is the best brand cuz i prefer an asus, but i don't mind a toshiba or a hp. (this is a laptop that i need to do my homework + others as well; price matters - probably under $1500.)

1. Get centrino 2, it offers better computer performance and consumes less power if you're on the go.

2. Its important if your a mobility person or a performance person. Basically all specifications matter, because they determine how the computer operates.

3. Get an Asus, I'm using an Asus, Acer right now and have used an HP. I'm not too happy with Acer or HP. Asus has really worked for me. They offer a huge range of laptops ranging from $250 to extremely high end $3000 dollar laptops. Asus has the balanced and well performing F8 series, with the prices around and under $1500 depending on specifications. They look great and offer great performance. If you want there is the EEE PC series with prices ranging from $250 to $800. The catch is that its ultra-portable with battery power from 2hrs to 8hrs. The screen is small from 7inch to 10 inch, they can do your homework, internet, music, video needs.

in my personal and working experience says:

Dell and Toshiba Laptops are best for all categories but what you have to consider is, how u wanna use ur laptop becasue if you do heavy things on it then you need to buy More space HDD(Above 120 GB) and atleast 2 GB RAM (2 GB RAM can handle almost all games and graphics except some of Heavy Graphic Animation project).

so just spend few  time on their authorized web site where you can see all products and all parts which come with that Laptop.

You say you need to do homework + others as well, others mean?

play games?

if u wan to play games in laptop..please don...u might as well buy a desktop computer..

If u insist in buying laptop..sony,hp,IBM is gd..
