A new match between A.J. Styles and Bully Ray announced for TNA Slammiversary IX
The Thursday night iMPACT! Wrestling featured a new match for TNA pay-per-view event Slammiversary IX. The fight named 'The Last Man Standing Match' will take place between A.J. Styles and Bully Ray on June 12, at Orlando, Florida.
The rules of the match are; the person, who recovers and stands until the referee’s ten counts, will be the winner. Few months ago, Ray injured A.J Styles after hitting a power bumb from ramp onto the table on March 17. It caused the rivalry between
both terrible TNA superstars. Last week, A.J Styles and Christopher Daniels defeated Bully Ray and Tommy Dreamer during iMPACT! Wrestling on May 26. It led to a PPV match that will decide for a strong superstar.
The updates match card for TNA PPV Slammiversary IX is as follows:
The TNA World Heavyweight Championship match is set between the champion, Sting, and the number one contender, Ken Anderson. The title shot was earned by Anderson by winning the battle royal on May 19. It will be the main event of TNA PPV Slammiversary
IX.
Another main event of Slammiversary IX is 'Number one contender for Kurt Angle’s Olympic Gold Medal'. The match is set between Angle’s ex-wife, Karen Jarrett’s husband, Jeff Jarrett. Angle has put his gold medal on the line for this match.
The TNA Knockouts Championship fight will be played between the Mickie James and Angelina Love. Mickie has already defeated Winter during Thursday night iMPACT! Wrestling.
TNA Tag-Team Champions, James Storm and Alex Shelley are set to face The British Invasion team. Actually, Robert Roode was tag-team partner of James Storm. The Immortal group injured him and Shelley joined him for tag-team championship in substitution
of Roode.
There are two non-title challenge matches that are set for the PPV. The first match will be played between Samoa Joe and Crimson while the second will be between Scott Steiner and Matt Morgan. It is expected that The X-Division Champion, Abyss will
also have a title match but no opponent is set for him yet.
