  1. Yep, it's the roto virus vaccine

  2. That's rotavirus.  Not MMR, that isn't given until they are MUCH older.

There are several different brands of that vaccine, but they are all for rotavirus.  They used to give an oral vaccine for polio too, but they stopped a few years ago.

  3. they still give the liquid polio vaccine here ( in wv) so maybe  thats what it was there too....my son has gotten his twice now  and hes 8.5 months.

why thumbs down a simple fact?  i know what vaccines my child was given.

  4. its the  Rotavirus Vaccine:

This vaccine is given by mouth to prevent rotavirus infection, which can cause fever, vomiting, and diarrhea in infants and young children. This vaccine does not protect against vomiting and diarrhea that are caused by anything else.

The liquid is squeezed gently into the baby's mouth.

Babies should receive 3 doses. The usual age for the first dose is 6 to 12 weeks of age. The second dose should be given 4 to 10 weeks after the first dose. The third dose should be given 4 to 10 weeks after the second dose. The last (third) dose should be given to your child by 32 weeks of age.

This vaccine may be given at the same time as other routine childhood shots, such as DPT, hepatitis B, and pneumonia shots. Other live virus vaccines should be given at least 1 month apart from this vaccine.

  5. Yea its the diarrhea one. So they dont get severe diarrhea. My daughter just got it last month.

  6. i believe it called roto virus.. its for diarhea in infants.. its in a little squeeze tube thats sweet flavored

  7. It's rotovirus, my son just got his 18 month check up the other day, and he got that one, and the MMR shot

  8. coud be the MMR... three of them, one of which is a liquid, the others are in a shot.

then at like 3 months, they get the liquid again.

  9. It was probably rototeq for the rotovirus.
